Acrylic Flow Class at Blue Butterfly Art Studio, Cedar Point.
Learn the art of Acrylic pour painting.

Valentine’s Wood-Fired Dinner & Wine Pairing at Carolina Home and Garden, Newport.
A candlelit evening featuring a four-course wood-fired dinner, thoughtfully paired with hand-selected wines.

Art Walk at Middle Street, New Bern.
A free self guided walk to over 30 different stops in the downtown New Bern area to visit stores and galleries and see everything New Bern has to offer.

33rd Annual Gloucester Mardi Gras at Gloucester Community Center, Gloucester.
Modeled after the rural Mardi Gras of Southwest Louisiana, this is a family-friendly, community event. Featuring Unknown Tongues Cajun Zydeco Band.

New Bern Mardi Gras, downtown New Bern.
A day of family-friendly festivities, with a parade, artists, food trucks, live music, various activities downtown, and the crowning of the Mardi Gras King and Queen.

Valentine's Wine & Dessert Pairing at Harvest of Grace Winery, Newport.
A pairing featuring desserts thoughtfully paired with Harvert of Grace wines.

Daddy Daughter Sweetheart Dance at the Crystal Coast Civic Center, Morehead City.
A great evening for fathers and daughters of all ages, with a sweetheart theme.

Brave Women – Their Revolutionary Stories at North Carolina History Center – Cullman Hall, New Bern.
Learn about five heroic North Carolina women who stood up during the Revolution.

Beach Scavenger Hunt at Fort Macon State Park, Atl;antic Beach.
Take a stroll on the beach with a park ranger and hunt for things, from drift beans to sea glass, and of course, seashells.

The Coast Guard Auxiliary is accepting 50 applications for volunteer members. Applicants must reside in or near Swansboro. Potential roles include going on patrol saving lives and property, assisting in marine safety and environmental protection, radio watchstanding, educating the public in boating safety and much more. Time requirements are just a few hours per month. No prior military or boating skills are needed. Training will be provided.
